Answers Agent

Ask anything about Patchworks - searches docs, community, and knowledge base for a direct answer without leaving the platform.

The Answers Agent is your in-platform support companion. Ask it anything about Patchworks - it searches across the documentation, community, and knowledge base and gives you a direct, contextual answer without you having to leave what you're working on.

Rather than opening a new tab, hunting through docs, or waiting for a support ticket, you get an immediate answer grounded in the same sources the Patchworks team uses - surfaced right where you need it.

What it searches

When you ask a question, the Answers Agent queries across three sources simultaneously and synthesises a single, direct response:

Results are ranked by relevance and recency, so you always get an answer that reflects the current state of the platform - not an out-of-date article.

How to use it

The Answers Agent is available from the AI Studio page under Platform Agents, and can also be opened from the persistent chat icon in the top navigation bar anywhere in Patchworks.

1

Open the Answers Agent

Navigate to AI Studio → Platform Agents and select the Answers Agent card, or click the chat icon in the top navigation bar from any screen in Patchworks.

2

Ask your question

Type your question in plain language - as specifically or broadly as you like. You don't need to know which section of the docs to look in; the agent handles that for you.

3

Get a direct answer

The agent returns a synthesised answer with links to the relevant source pages so you can read further if needed. No list of search results to trawl through - just the answer.

4

Follow up or go deeper

Continue the conversation with follow-up questions. The agent keeps context across the chat, so you can drill into specifics without repeating yourself

What you can ask

The Answers Agent is designed for questions about how Patchworks works. Here is an examples:
