Stage 6: Go live (Shopify & NetSuite)

Introduction

When you're satisfied that your process flows are working as expected with test credentials, you're ready to go live. This is a two-stage process:

Stage 1: Change connector instance credentials from testing to live

Currently, all connector shapes in your flows are configured with authentication credentials for access to sandbox/testing systems. These must now be changed to live/production credentials.

To do this, follow the instructions on this page to edit your Shopify & NetSuite connector instances and apply new authentication credentials for your live/production environments.

Updating existing connector instances with production credentials means you don't have to amend any process flows - the new credentials are applied automatically. This is the quickest and simplest approach.

However, some people prefer to create new connector instances with production credentials, so they can switch between testing and live, especially if virtual environments are used. If you prefer to do this, the following guides may be useful:

Stage 2: Deploy process flows

Currently, your process flows are in a draft state, and disabled. For a process flow to run according to your defined trigger schedule, it must be deployed and enabled.

When a process flow is deployed, it is also enabled.

If you are not using virtual environments and you're ready to deploy a process flow, follow the instructions below:

If you are using virtual environments, you will need to configure your environments and deploy process flows there. When you are ready, follow the instructions below to deploy your process flows:

Even if you don't utilise the virtual environments feature, you may wish to consider creating a package for all Shopify & NetSuite flows, so you can deploy them all to 'no environment' in a single action.
