## Authentication
When adding connector instances for **Pimberly**, the following authentication methods are supported:

When a user chooses to [add a connector instance](/product-documentation/connectors-and-instances/working-with-instances/adding-an-instance.md) using **token** authentication, the credentials below are prompted:

### **Token**
Tokens are created from your Pimberly dashboard, as below.
**Step 1**\
Log into the Pimberly dashboard.
**Step 2**\
Select **admin** from the top navigation bar and then **feeds** from the left-hand navigation bar:\
**Step 3**\
Click the **new feed** button:
**Step 4**\
Enter a name for this key:
**Step 5**\
Click in the **product connector** field and select **REST**, then **OK**:

Save the key.
